If You Clean It, Spring Will Come
Its worth a shot right? If you’re anything like me March hits and you are READY for spring. Especially if you live in Minnesota like I do (I’m so over you winter). I’ll be the first to admit that by this time of year cabin fever has fully set in and I am ready for sun, green, flowers… anything but cold and white lol.
On a recent trip to Target I dipped down the cleaning aisle in search for my beloved Meyers cleaning products. I only get to Target once every few weeks (insert audible gasp here), so I love checking out which seasonal products they have available… during this trip I discovered lilac. Now what you probably do not know about me is that I LOVE the smell of lilacs, like LOVE LOVE it. So of course I grabbed it all up!
My dear husband used to roll his eyes each time I brought home new cleaning smellies (thinking it was a waste of money), until he realized how much more I love to clean with them! Now he certainly doesn’t mind 😉 Armed with my new springtime fresh cleaner and my upcoming spring break I’ve been trying to make a game plan for tackling this winterized homestead. Upon doing a Pinterest search for spring cleaning tips and checklists etc. I came across this fun little challenge on Pinterest.
I thought that doing this challenge would be a great way to get the whole family involved! With our busy (and opposite) work and school schedules this spring cleaning challenge looks very doable. Not to mention it will probably have us cleaning a few things that we have neglected for a little longer than just a few months #reallife. So who’s with me?! We might even get started as soon as tomorrow!
To help get you started here are a few affiliate links to some of my favorite cleaning products on Amazon (just click the picture). Happy cleaning!
